Bill, a native of
Des Moines
, is a 1967 graduate of the
University
of
Iowa
with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. Upon graduation, Bill joined the
Des Moines
office of a Big Eight accounting firm. After five years experience with the national firm, he joined with Bill M. Reese, who had recently started his own CPA firm. They were in partnership until Bill Reese's retirement in 1996.
Bill is currently the managing partner of the firm and also has the overall responsibility for the tax practice of the firm. He is involved in the preparation, and review of the tax returns prepared by the firm and enjoys working with the firm's clients in business and tax planning strategies.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member and past-president of the Des Moines Chapter of the
Institute
of
Management Accountants
and also served as an officer of the regional council of
IMA . | 
Bill is also a past-president of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce, past-treasurer of numerous organizations, including District 6000 of Rotary International. He served as the President of the Rotary Club of Northwest Des Moines during 2001-2002. He has been a member of Rotary since 1987.
Lyle
Lyle joined Corwin, Reichter & Company as a staff accountant in 1984 after graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He became a partner in 1993.
Lyle is currently the audit partner with the firm, where he assists numerous clients in different industries with their audit, accounting and tax needs.
Lyle’s areas of expertise include construction and agricultural business. He enjoys helping our clients grow their businesses.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member and past-president of the Des Moines Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Matthew graduated from University of Northern Iowa in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
Prior to joining Corwin, Reichter & Company in 1995, Matthew worked for a regional CPA firm, specializing in financial institution compliance examinations.
In 2001, Matthew started a new role with Corwin, Reichter and Company, as partner-in-charge of the firm’s business services practice.
Matthew’s areas of emphasis are small business consulting, accounting, computerized accounting software, tax planning and auditing. He services a wide range of clients and enjoys the rewards of working closely with them and sharing in their success.
Matthew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. Matthew is also a member and treasurer of the Des Moines Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
| Chris is the Office Administrator at Corwin, Reichter & Company, P.C., joining the firm in December 2003.
Prior to her position with the firm, Chris worked as a Telecommunications Voice Engineer for a Fortune 500 company. Chris also has a background in the IT field, as well as an extensive background in the customer service field. She enjoys filling needs for the CRC staff and customers.
Besides the daily office administration, Chris has the responsibility of handling the monthly bookkeeping services and payroll services for some of our clients. | Reichter
